Lambrusco Ask celebrated his 20th anniversary on February 11th 2016. He is enjoying his retirement on the big grass fields surrounding Stutteri Ask after his impressing sports career.

As a sire he is not retired, and 2015 was a remarkable year for his offspring.

Lambrusco Ask by Landor S x Contender himself has several international Grand Prix placings.
He also showed his extraordinary capacity, as he won the Master Class at the JBK Horse Shows in Odense 2007.
At the age of only 9 years Lambrusco Ask was able to get into the top placings in the prestigious class, Sires of the World during the World Championships for Young Horses in Zangersheide 2005. Against hard competition he ended up at 8th place efter two clear rounds.

Lambrusco Ask is out of a very interesting mares stemm - the same stemm as the father Landor S. The mother of Landor S, Fureida II is the mother's mother of Lambrusco Ask. A full sister to Lambrusco Ask, Lady Heida won the title as jumping mare of the year at the ”Bundesstutenschau” in Neustadt-Dosse 2002.
Landor S was placed 4th in his stallion test, and with 133,66 points he was 2nd in the jumping discipline. He won the German Bundeschampionat in jumping as a 6-years-old, and already as a 7-years-old he won several S-classes.

Landor S has produced more than 30 approved sons, and several international jumping horses, amongst them Lobster, who in 2008 won no less than five international Grand Prix's under Søren Pedersen.

The motherfather of Lambrusco Ask, the holsteiner sire Contender, is a highly rated sire in Germany. Today he is the father of more than 100 approved stallions and countless competition horses.

Lambrusco Ask produces noble foals with long legs, expressive heads on a nice neck. The foals all move very elastic with a super canter.

Even though the pedigree of Lambrusco Ask is a thorough jumping pedigree, he delivered 3 B-horses (DK) in dressage, although his offspring still were more dominant in the jumping arena's. In Denmark he is the sire of 19 B-horses, 8 A-horses and 1 horse jumping S-classes.

Apart from this he is the sire of 3 mares rated BRDH, 3 mares rated SRDH, 2 approved stallions as well as the "2-year-old jumping Mare of the Year 2009", Hava Ask with dam's sire Carson.

At the final of the Danish Championship for young horses in 2007 Lambrusco Ask had six offspring in total, and they were all placed in the finals. The winner of the 5-years-old championship was L'Amour who later was the best Danish horse at the World Championship for young jumpers at Zangersheide.
At the Unghestechampionat 2008 here are some of the qualified horses: the winner of the Egnethedstest in Region 6, Lismore, who earned a 10 for capacity and a total of 907,5 points.
Also L. Leth, 2nd at the Unghestechampionat, La Casir Ask, approved stallion (sold to Italy), Hava Ask, 2-years-old mare of the year at the Elite mare show, and the year after she received a silvermedal. Lavisto won the DRF jumping hampionship for 6-years-old horses in Bernstorffsparken. Welistro won the Egnethedstest in region 4, and after that he was second at the Unghestechampionat.
Le Mans, winner of Jysk Mesterskab for U18/U21 in 2014 and third at the indoor Danish Championship for seniors in 2015. Laramy Ask, winner of the Longines Ranking Medium Tour at Riders Cup in 2014, silvermedal at the Danish Championship and team gold at the Scandinavian Championships 2015, as well as Libak's Lamentos who won the silvermedal at the DM for U18 also in 2015.

Lambrusco Ask has been approved in Danish Warmblood and Swedish Warmblood.
